Exmouth Market has been waiting for its upswing ever since Moro opened on this old-fashioned market street in a no-man's-land between Clerkenwell and Angel. Now it has finally reached that tipping point from being a mixed bag of a street to being almost totally hip. And one of the places that has helped it over the last hurdle is Caravan. It's a bar, restaurant, takeaway coffee shop with a lovely young vibe - laid-back, cool, yet cosy and intimate. It has a great crossover feel which is part Sydney, part NYC Meatpacking District, part Spanish tapas place. With The Eagle around the corner, Moro a few doors away, and the gastronomic temple St. John a 15-minute stroll, this is a great place to fuel up for exploring the mysteries of EC1.
