French chocolates are world famous, but rather grown up. The artisan chocolatiers in Paris, in particular, produce very high cocoa-content delicacies, which some can find too rich and bitter. Jeff de Bruges is a chain of franchises throughout France (and in some parts of the world) which sells far less sophisticated chocolates, but which are delicious. I still want the fancy-schmancy ones from the artisan shops, but Jeff de Bruges does very cute packaging, and are deeply more-ish (and more reasonably priced).
